Graham Sem, Associate

Graham completed his PhD in 1992 at the University of Auckland. His work since completing his doctorate has taken him around the world assisting individuals, communities and countries with coming to terms with climate change, vulnerability and risk. With extensive work experience with UNFCCC, IPCC, SPREP having been the Programme Officer for Non_annex 1 Implementation with the Implementation Program of the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, in Bonn Germany. He has also been the Scientific/Technical Adviser to the Pacific Islands Climate Change Assistance Programme/CC:Train, within the South Pacific Regional Environment Programme. Graham was also a Lead Author for the Working Group II: Chapter 16: Small Islands for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Fourth Assessment Report. With his extensive work with IPCC he was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize along with other IPCC members in 2007.
