ClimSystems’ Dr Yinpeng Li and our Associate at ClimSystems Dr Ye Quian of Beijing Normal University were notable keynote speakers and panel members at the recent New era, new risks, new rules, new development – addressing climate change academic conference. Held online, the conference was the first academic exchange activity between the Disaster Risk Management and Catastrophe Insurance Research Centre of Nankai University and the Institute of Disaster Risk Science of Beijing Normal University. It attracted more than 80 experts, scholars, teachers and students from academia, business and government departments from across China.
